    Hi, guys!

I am working on a DIY motorized camera slider, 12V, DC and looking for a slider dimmer that goes from a full circuit break to "full power".

The setup is: battery-switch-motor where the switch makes the motor go from fully-off to fully-on according to the dimmer slider position.

I am drawing blanks where I can buy one for under $10. I am looking for a "dumb" dimmer which would be just a resistance change.

    Appreciate all advice!

Does it have to be a slider?
What about pot? You just turn the knob...

Shteii01, I'll take a circular dimmer as a contingency. Reasons why I opt for slider as the first choice are: i) easier to mark up the scale, ii) more exact control over the position and hence the speed, and finally iii) it gives me a slit to shine a LED through for the night time operations. But hey, beggers cant be choosers ;)
