I'm looking for a 1 inch light Dependent resistor. Maybe photoresistor is the more correct term. I want a 1 inch size as I want to use it as a target for a gun that shoots a red laser.

    Thanks,

    Bill

    Google
    "25mm LDR"

Cadmium Sulfide photocell used to be my, "go to" device, but rumor is that they are no longer in production. Besides, they are awfully slow, like, more than one second to calm down after the light source is removed.

Dough out a 1 in cell monitored with ohm meter & flashed it with laser. Flash is detectable but up close red beam covers a very small part of cell, at 50 ft. better coverage , so should work.
