Logic Gate

    just follow the gates and write output states from left to right...

    As i said earlier, ive got no knowledge whatsoever on logic gates. I was just sent the attachment via email and wondered what it was all about. Ive been reading up on how to convert to binary or decimal but still unsure how to do that....

    look.. google is your friend.. and in this case, wikipedia turns up trumps..

    i felt free to simply label all outputs (see below). can you look at the circuit and tell what can possibly affect output "a"?

    Input 1 / Input 0 = 1

    Now to try and work out the rest...!

    correct, the only thing that can affect the output "a" is the output of the OR gate, and we have
    1 OR 0 = 1.

    apply the same strategy to rest of the circuit. basically what you need to know is logic table for each gate.
