Hi all,

Have got a problem, got questions and absolutely no notes to help.

Describe the problems (suggest solutions), with connecting these logic families. Sketch circuits to illustrate your answer:
1. 74LS to 74HC (5V supply rail),
2. 74HC to 74LS (5V supply rail),
3. 74LS (5V supply) to 4000 series (12V supply),
4. 74LS to 74HC (isolated supplies and grounds),

All help would be very much apprecited, thanks for your time.

Hello,

A lot of information to solve your problems can be found here.
Look at the fanin and fanout and logic levels.

On this page you can find some more about logic integrated circuits.

(some parts are taken from the wiki).
You could also look at the links at the EDUCYPEDIA.
