hello friends ,
i am trying to create one simple circuit using 555 timer and lm 2917 ic for linear capacitance to voltage converter.
kindly refer to attached documents below and help me with the solution.
inserting image and doc as my reference data.

it seems to be a interesting way to get a voltage proportional to a capacitance but it should work.
for the LM2917 the formula is Vout= VCC × fin × Cx × R1 × K so if Fin is constant and you change Cx
the output voltage should behave proportional. But there are narrow limits for Cx to work proportional.
C2 is for filtering the output to get a more DC voltage.
What is your Cx ? a sensor or a variable capacitor (like in old radios)?
