Two vanity lights in my bathroom are connected to one switch in my bathroom. A second switch next to that switch controls lights over the shower and tub. The second switch works, but the vanity lights are not working. The light bulbs work. and I've tested the wires for power at the switches and I'm getting power. I tried to replace the switch with a new one and it didn't work. I even disconnected the other switch and tried hooking it up to the vanity lights switch and it didn't work. I'm running out of ideas as to what the problem is. The wiring job isn't very good. Nothing is grouned either. Any suggestions?

 

call a licensed electrician......

 

There could be a wire off in one of the vanity light boxes. Look in the one closest to the switch first.
