I've read some documents about LF transponder from some semiconductor producers such as NXP, TI, Atmel. All of them offer the wake-up way through LF field but the definition how it works makes me confused. The first definition (in case of NXP) is called "LF detection", and the most important parameter is "LF Field Detect threshold voltage (peak) between 2 coils" (for ex: 3 V). The second one is named "3D LF wake-up" (incase of Atmel & TI) with the most important parameter is "Sensitivity" (for ex: 1.2 mVpp). As the first impression when catching these two parameter, I think "3D LF wake-up" is more sensitive. Is that right ?
