Levitation with standing sound waves... COOL!

    Thanks for this! --- I've been meaning to 'play around' with this phenomenon but never find the time...

    FWIW I recall a PBS special (I know...:oops:) wherein an Egyptologist hypothesized that the Great Pyramid was stacked via this method (let's see: technology too primitive for cranes but contemporaneous with drivers/transducers capable of many tens of kPa overpressure? -- Go figure:rolleyes:)

    Yes, of course. The sound pressure waves were generated by resonators mounted on alien spacecraft. :)

    That is as likely as a great flood causing rocks to erode into cubes and naturally stacking themselves into a pyramid as the fluidized solids settle.
