A colleague of mine mentioned that when he was about eight years old, he received a Lego MINDSTORMS set and that is what instilled in him a fascination with electric circuits and electronics (in fact, he went on to get a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering). Of course, that was about twenty years ago.
I am now looking around for something similar to give as a gift to a ten year old boy. However, I havent been able to find a Lego MINDSTORMS set. I went to the local "The Source" and asked about it, but all I got was a blank stare. Does that mean they are no longer available? If so, what has succeeded it? If not, any suggestions as to where I can find it?
