I am trying to create a system in which a transmitter unit can turn on an LED at a receiver unit. The transmitter system will have a pushbutton that when pressed flashes an LED at another location to get the attention of someone.
It can't be IR, line of sight is out of question
Bluetooth is too short range.
From here I seem to go to FM transmission, but I am having trouble understanding how to work a receiver in a project like this.
Can anyone help me?
