Just bought 2 LED strips and when press the off button the red lighting on every 3rd strip stays on very dimly. The model number is FW-5050rgb-54RW and we bought an extra higher amp power supply to make up for the extra power emitted from the 2nd strip. Does anyone know what may be causing this to happen?

    Thanks!

Not without a schematic. Can you post a drawing?

    First guess, is the quality.
I bought a few strands with the same problem.

    I paid around $6.00 for 300 LEDs. Hehe:D

Caps in the power supply still holding a bit of charge??? Where are you cutting the circuit off?
