led help needed

My guess is that even though there are provisions for two batteries, both batteries are in parallel and must be the same voltage. Without a schematic of the PDB, I can't be sure of that, but it seems logical.
I sent a question to the people that sell these hoping they can answer this, otherwise I'll hook a meter up to it tonight when I get home.

If I end up with a custom designed board, this shouldn't be an issue.

The resistor had the number 151 stamped on top of it so I'm assuming it's a 151 ohm resistor?
Pretty close, it's a 150 ohm resistor, just by coincidence.
The last digit is the number of zeros to add on the end of the other digits so:
150 = 15 ohm
151 = 150 ohm
152 = 1500 ohm
etc

It has been working flawlessly for 6 hours, so it should be solid.

I'll try to shoot a video if time permits.

ETA: No video, no time.
