    Hi,
I want to make a .txt file reader which reads from an SD Card and displays the text file contents onto an LCD. This circuit must be battery operated size AA. I tried googling up LCD Interfacing and bla bla but did not succeed in finding a relevant answer so I turn to this forum. HELP PLEASE!!!

I am from Pakistan and no it is not a homework. I am just a newbie in electronics and logic design at my uni so thought of getting a hands-on approach at these subjects by doing some hobby circuit

Could be any programming language (all depends on the micro you choose)
If this is a one off thing you could just use and arduino uno board, microSD shield, and an LCD. That would be all you need.. circuit done..Then you just need to program it.

he means that you didn't put your location in your profile so its impossible to guess what hardware (all of it) you can/can't get. In some countries its impossible to even get the most basic of parts.

So put your location in your profile...
