At least it wasn't legal action. That can be more damaging in the long run.

I have heard conflicting reports that the fault wasn't with the magnets but to do with the general safety systems. Your report appears to concur with mine from the BBC. I guess they may still be doing an assessment of the causes and for something so complex there may be several interrelated elements that are the problem.
