Hi,

Were building a power supply at our office to eventually power 400 set top boxes (cable tv). Our company provides unique firmware to different STBs. Anyway, I'm trying to find a place where I can purchase large power supplies that can power a bunch of these boxes. Each box takes 15 v dc 1amp. If I could find a ps that did 15v / 20 amps that I would purchase 20 of them.

Any suggestions?

That's a hefty supply.

Omron make 300W 15V units such as the S8VM switch mode type.

I saw one advertised for AUD$800 new. That's $16,000 for 20 units if you could source them. Probably cheaper elsewhere than in the antipodes.

 

Meanwell builds some fairly hefty units.

But, we don't know where you are, so kind of pointless to look for suppliers.
