Lab Project Power Supply

    Instead of the doctored up wallwart that I currently use, I would really like to have a regulated power supply 1 - 15 v and I suppose 1.5 - 3 amp or so.

    If anyone has a recommendation of where to get a REASONABLY priced one with decent quality, I would be grateful. Not looking to spend big bucks on it though.

    I would even consider making my own if someone has some reliable specs/diagrams and part descriptions. Any help is appreciated. thanks

    No thats not a LAP power supply.... LAB !!!

    thanks for the information, I think I will try to pursue the LM317 solution..

    There's usually a few on Ebay. The trick is to find one locally because they are pretty expensive to post. I think mine was £25 and is similar to the one mcgyvr linked to.
