I want to built an amplifier using the LA 4440 IC, but first I need to simulate the circuit. The problem is the IC is not available in PSPICE. Is there any other platform for simulation?

 

I'd bet you wouldnt have this in any of the libraries of all the simulators available. Have to create it yourself from the datasheet..... Or try your luck on the Yahoo group on LTSpice.

This chip was used in one of the Yamaha PSR keyboards. Cant recall which model. Newer models used LA4706.

Honestly. We designed and built circuits since Marconi, without a simulator. What is this world coming to that people can't build a circuit without simulating it first?

 

Nah..actually it's for a college project and it does require me to simulate it.

 

Oh. Schools are requiring you to learn simulators. They can be helpful. They can save time. They can also make mistakes. When that happens, some people stop their life until they can get the simulator to work. Others stop the simulator and try to get real parts to work. You will have to make that choice, sooner or later.
