i want to control the angles and position of my robotic arm with bipolar stepper motor..i m intending to use l298..can anyone help me with the circuit and how cn i control it with the avr atmega16..??..help..
The L298 by itself will not run a stepper motor. It is only a H-bridge driver and a bad one at that. The L298 is most times used with a L297, this chip generates the direction and step configuration.
