Here is what I'd like to do.
I have a signal that I want to condition with a jfet op amp. The signal swings from plus 4 volts to minus 4 volts. I want to condition the signal so it never goes below zero volts and when the input is zero volts the output is 2.5 volts. Maximum output must not go over 5 volts or under zero volts and follow the input (non-inverting).
I have tried a number of circuits and gotten only partial success. Most of the time it distorts as the input swings under zero volts and follows the input signal. I am not worried about current, just voltage values that follow the input signal as described.
Any help here would be appreciated.
