No point in throwing away your electric toothbrush, then. The old-fashioned plastic one is just as sinister. Think of all the energy it can be harvesting while brushing.:D

"Leahy's amendment would also create privacy protections for geolocation data recorded by mobile devices and stored remotely. Today, government agents need only a court order to access such data. Leahy's amendment would require a search warrant to track individuals via real-time GPS data transmitted by their devices to a service provider or device manufacturer."

Michigan Police in USA were using a cell phone dump device...Dumped GPS...everything..Civil Liberties stepped in.

They weren't dumping, they were downloading cell phone data. The data the Celle Brite can get is the call history, retrieve all deleted data, SMS history (current and deleted), photos, calls made, calls missed, calls received, duration of calls, your phone contact list... it can even clone a SIM card.
