Is this a suitable 3A motor driver?

Disclaimer: I'm very new to electronics, but I remember basics from physics.

I'm looking to drive 1 small 6V geared DC motors (brush) that draw 1.3A(no load) with a controller with a 7V source (current to be determined?). I'm having trouble identifying a suitable logic level controller. Right now I'm considering this one BD62321HFP, but I'm not entirely certain that my choice is a correct one. The controllers will be controlled by an arduino which means 30mA may be supplied at 5V max. From what I saw in the datasheet, the specs matched up to what I wanted, but I would like a second opinion on this choice. Please let me know if I left out any important information.
