I'm content to watch it on TV: it's on right now: they have just said "I will".

Some Londoners queued for days in the streets to see this, but not me!

The royal couple are now married.

    Edit: Now they are!

It is of course nice that William and Kate has found each other. But the TV program . Is nothing more than babbling, bumbling band of baboons, and show-offs. Cackling about total uninteresting topics. The worst of them. Is the so-called protocol, and etiquette experts.

The OP may find it more interesting from a distant location, so I thought to let the OP know. Personally, I doubt that it should be given so much importance (and public resources).

Given that it is happening about ten miles from where I'm sitting now, it's on my TV and getting about 50% of my attention.

P.S. Is there such a thing as an elected lizard?

Whoda thunk it, a Chinese Anglophile!

Britain, a perfect illustration how the ruling class can be persuaded to give up power without mass murder.

I'm more interested in the snooker. Ding Junhui from China is doing well in the semifinals.

I 'll agree that too much attention is given to a yet another wedding that won't change history.

But the worst thing is the gossip newsflashes and shows that won't stop lowering my IQ every time they invade my ears:
"...The couple has shared yet another kiss, rather mild this time..."

FOR GOD'S SAKE somebody stop them! (These people will turn me to religion in the end...)

    What wedding?

Seriously. What a waste of money! Get a few friends and family together at home or an already secured location and that should have been the extent of it.

    Hi all.

My work partner (who is sitting behind me) worked at the palace for the receptions. She was working on the event side of things, as she is a freelance stage manager and event manager.

She said it was a great day and all went without a problem.

    Daniel.
