I have done many very simple circuits with switch. but the switch i am always using is the switch mostly used on homes. isn't it OK?

because this switch is rated as 3A/250V and the other one 16A/300V but no indication if VAC OR VDC.

so guys, is it OK to use those switches??????????????????????

In general if it only calls out 300V it means AC..

For hobby work it is fine but DC is harder the break than AC so I wouldn't go over a few amps and no more than 32VDC.

You have said in an earlier thread that you wanted to use a 15 amp fuse. Your switch should then be rated for more than 15 Amperes, or it will protect the fuse by melting first.
