Does anyknow what type of ir leds a trail camera uses ? I have 5 ir leds that were broken in an accident (bear). The camera is a moultrie d55irxt. They are 5mm x 8.8 mm aprox. Forward voltage measured 2.24 v . Can any one suggest a replacement.

 

Were the IR leds for night vision? If so, the "brightest" would probably be the best. Just be sure to use the correct resistor, and don't put them in parallel. Just find somewhere to connect directly to the battery.
