I am not sure if this has been attempted, but I see iPhone LCD's on eBay all the time for fairly low cost..

Does anyone know if there has been research into interfacing with an iPhone LCD? Would be a truly awesome project..

I saw your post about finding out how to interface an iPhone LCD. Did you find anything, or did you actually get do it yourself?

I would really love to be able to use it for projects.

My iphone 3G wasn't working anymore and I thought the LCD was the problem, so I ordered another one. Turns out it wasn't the LCD... So now I have two great LCD screens and nothing to put them to good use.

I haven't seen a successful experiment with either an iPhone or Droid screen so far.

When the price on them at eBay spikes, you'll know there is a solution somewhere on the web.
