if iphone 5 fake charging or not improve the percentage of charging then you replace the u2 ic, but be sure that battery , charging conn. w/flex are working properly. u2 ic has fixed by glue but never worry to remove, just make cover cpu by heat resistance tape then use rework station 400 degree 2 minute then you can easily remove.
