Dear all, In Inverter driver Circuit using Transistors 2N3055 Resistors are used,it is essential to use Wire Wound Resistors or we can use normal resistors? I tried a small simple circuit like 2 Watt white Rectangular block type resistor, I don't think it is a Wire Wound. Help me pl.

Wire wound resistors are normally used where you require high power dissipation, since they are available in large sizes than standard resistors. There's no reason to use them otherwise.

Note that the 2W rectangular block type resistor you described sounds like a wire wound type.
