interval-based timer/potentiometer

Hello, maybe you can help

I want to purchase something that works like a delayed windshield wiper relay for use other than on vehicles.

Or something that has similar controls that sweeps once every 60 seconds or more. Better if it is a 120 sec. delay between sweeps.

Do you where to buy any product that could do this?

I am told that I need an interval based timer and a potentiometer.
