hello,, I install remote starters on cars for a living, and I have a customer whos remote wont work in their driveway due to rf interference. Is there a way I can change the frequency or somehow shield it so the remote will work.
PS, this is not automotive modification, this is dealing with rf interference on a remote, it just happens to be on a car, but I have put them on buildings before also.

 

What frequency do your remote starters operate on?

 

Interference can be approached with a different frequency, shielding, more power, filtering, or a better (directional) antenna. Keep providing information and we will narrow down the possibilities.
