    Hi guys

I see different wavelength like 940nm and 850nm etc, what's the pros and cons for different wavelength?

    Thanks

I think you will find that the 850nm LED will be much more visible to the naked eye even under pretty bright conditions or from some distance away, while the 940nm LED will be quite hard to see under most conditions or beyond a pretty small distance.

The 850nm LED will probably give you better resolution capability, depending on what you are trying to do.

If you are using And infrared LED to pair with an infrared sensor then don't forget to have your sensor at same wavelength
