Hi All,

I need to take a feed from the remote pictured below, to start/stop a camera recording so it can be operated elsewhere with a push to make switch.

Its the top left hand button just under the IR, is it just a case of drilling a hole in each of the two lines going into the button and then soldering in a wire into each?

 

If you can see the two lines going into the button then you can solder another button on them.
