Looking for schematics and tips on Infrared Headphones, the board is showing a PCB identification: IFS698RX.

The LED indicating power to the headphone is not lighting up. Power from the 2 x 1.5V to the circuit board is ok and passes through the switch.

No brand name of model number shown on the exterior.

It uses two 2056FNG wireless headphone receiver ICs. http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/31216/TOSHIBA/TA2056FN.html

and an LM4537 power amplifier for headphone stereos. http://www.ic-on-line.cn/iol_LA4537M/PdfView/3465.htm

Could the prefix IFS stand for this company: http://www.ifsworld.com/

You should look carefully at your state and federal regs. You will find that wearing headphones in a moving auto mobile is against the law. To prevent or preclude the ability to hear an approachin emergency vehicle and failing to give right of way in the state of Fla will only cost a mere 815.00 dollars and 6 points on your license. Might have a look before you get a bigger problem.

Hello,

It is not done to use headphones in a car.
You MUST be able to hear other traffic as stated by Rbeckett.
It will be a safety issue.
