I search after information about the different kind of actuator and how to choose the right actuator
Like DC motor, AC motor, Stepper motor, Solenoid, Hedraulic motor, Air motor, Valves, Piezoelectric motor, Micromotor, Micropumps …
I will glad to receive names of books or good sites that explain this issues

The type of actuator used would depend on your need..... what do you need it for??

an actuator is simply a device that creates kinetic energy.

an actuator doesn't have to be electronic either, it can be hydraulic, pneumatic, spring loaded, etc.

when you say actuators it generally means linear, rotary, etc not ac motor, dc motor, pumps, etc. that is another subject altogether.
