I need to wire up a standby inductor coil so I can heat it to keep moisture out of it.
The only information I have is that my company runs two inductor coils in parallel. When running on high its at 171.2 AC Kilowatts, 560 volts, and has a power factor of 0.4. When running on low its at 35.7 AC Kilowatts, 560 volts, and has a power factor of 0.4.
I will be hooking up the standby coil using a 14.5 KVA transformer that has tap settings of 320-600 volts.
I need to know how much amps my inductor will draw so I can size my wire and fuses accordingly.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, thank you very much!
