Hello,

I am trying to repair a power adaptor for Acer notebook D260, I found the coil was opened circuit ( broken connections). Currently I am unable to tell which rating is it? The part number on it, unfortunately is not helping me in matching with another one. Can you please help me on this matter? Also I would like to know how to tell which coil is it for any future case, plus which way does it go back (fitted)?

The coil located on the primary, just after the bridge rectifier. The following code written on the tape a rounded {NB9286 1023(04) 2P}.

Thank you, very useful but did not answer my question. I wondering how to figure out EMI choke filter value in order to replace it.
