Induction Heater

    I have doing some research on a portable 120v Induction heater ... I am looking around for some plans and info that I work on and to see if you guys have ever built one or can provide any help???



    Spec-
    Has to run off 120v AC
    Portable
    Safe to use and possible safely features

    You have a couple of options. If you want to roll your own, here is my open source 1500 watt heater here. Fluxeon offers A/T boards, bare boards and kits for this heater.

    If you want one ready-made then http://www.fluxeon.com makes a very nice one (claimer: I'm the Chief Engineer of Fluxeon and designed this heater).

    It looks like the miniductor from the inductor uses more or less the exact same circuit as neonjohn's "roy".
