I'm starting to design the oscillators for my harmonics project. And I forgot how complicated mist sign wave oscillator schematics are. I mean I can do a square wave with a 555 timer, and these sign wave schematics just look scarry. Can anyone reccomend a simple way to make a 5 hz 10v p-p sine wave?

Greetings PMB917,

Discover Circuits Website (See sine-wave oscillator in figure 1)

Above is one example of a sine-wave oscillator that may be of interest. There are sevweral other sinewave oscillator circuits on the website that you may want to take a look at.
