Implementing device to work with a gprs network

    A device to work in an air conditioner to auto power it with the aid of a message sent from a mobile phone through the gprs network

    Like the ones evil villains use in movies to trigger bombs?

    Those always seem to be based on a phone receiving a call and ringing, with the ring itself providing the trigger.

    Do you need to trigger on a specific text (like "AC ON" or "AC OFF"), or just any incoming message?

    I was sort of hoping he'd answer the bomb question before we gave him complete instructions. ;)

    Well, at least they didn't say it was needed in a VEHICLE.

    Around here, that's worse than wanting to design an improvised explosive device.
