Hello:

Is anyone out there familiar with the IEC 61000-4-x standards?

I'm interested in modelling the 1.2/50u & 8/20u combination wave generator described in the IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) standard. Unfortuneately the values (resistor, capacitor, inductor) of the model are not provided. The values for the 10/700u model are provided.

I figure I'd see if anyone else out has experience with these standards before I start experiementing from scratch.

Any ideas or comments are welcome.

I know this reply is a little late, but I have also been battling with a combination of components to provide the answer. I guess it should be possible to calculate the values, but trial and error seems to get me closer, although not close enough!

I wonder why the reluctance to provide typical values?

A late reply is fine with me, at least I know I'm not the only one trying to understand this! Unfortunately I didn't get an answer and opted to actually do the testing.
