Identifying Ungar pencil style soldering iron

I have an Ungar 2700 soldering iron (as mentioned in the title). I am confused as to the origins of this item. From the research I have done so far, I am under the impression that Ungar merged with Weller somehow. I am interested in using this soldering. My problem exists in replacing the tip. Modern tips screw into soldering irons, this Ungar model has tips that screw onto it.

This is a model 2700 Ungar soldering iron (labeled as: #2700 27W. 120V. AC/DC). I have not tested it yet. I would like to know if anyone uses an iron similar to this or knows any information related to it.

Please do not bother to respond if you are going to say "get a new iron" or anything related to that. This post is meant to gather information.
