I am designing a holographic display as my first project, and would like to know where I could buy ten N-MOSFETs and a 4017 decade counter. It has to be new and from a reliable source which won't cost much in shipping. I live in the New Brunswick Canada.
All help is appreciated.

Digi-Key is good. You might also consider Newark or Mouser as they carry a few more items, shipping costs can vary between any of these, but should be similar.

Jameco Elctronics is a good source as well. They also offer "grab bags" containing large numbers of miscellaneous circuit parts, ranging from passive components to linear and digital ICs in batches of up to 300, all priced very reasonably.

Mouser has the cheapest shipping since they only pass on their highly discounted UPS rate directly with no markup or will ship USPS Parcel Post.

No Mouser in Canada that I recall, thus buying from someone like Digi-Key up there averts customs charges.
