Hello everyone. I was wondering if you experts would have ever heard of an IC that is capable of recording audio and storing. I was told of it, being capable of recording some sort of sound, then outputting the signal via a speaker. The person who told me of this IC could not recall the name of the chip, so I was wondering if anyone had heard and would be able to tell me the name.

As for the research, I may be able to find it (as long as I get a name or parts number) so I would greatly appreciate any help given. Thanks for the consideration.

there are MANY of them. decide first the time /quality you need.
