I'd like to build a voltage controlled AGC circuit.
Assume that threr is a OPA inverted amplifier.
Depend on the feed-back voltage on the load to adjust gain of inverted amplifier.
Then it will maintain the current through the load in a fixed range.
How do I design the circuit and can achieve the function?

Sincerely

An analog opto coupler makes a good control element, old ones used filament bulb, now it's LEDs with LDR. Can be home built.
