To fix an LCD monitor, I need to buy some new capacitors.

    Specifically, I need 4700u 6.3V low-ESR x 2 and 1000u 50V low-ESR x 2. Rubycon, Panasonic, Nichicon, UCC/NCC etc.

However, most suppliers require me to buy a minimum of 5 (costs a lot) or pay expensive shipping costs. eBay has a poor selection. What are good places to go and buy these from in low quantities?

Rapid Electronics are great. I have had an account with them for some 18 years.

I've used them for the past few years, but they don't stock any good capacitors except Panasonic NHG, and those aren't very suitable for a power supply.

At £5.50 - cheaper to use Farnell.

Also, 85°C only. I usually only recap with 105°C because they tend to last longer.

    See my dilemma?

I do indeed my friend. But remember Farnell have a minimum order of £20.

Yes, but it might be worth it if I can combine some things on the order. I need to talk to my US friends and see if they want anything ;).
