Easiest way to do that is by multiplexing.

Each LED is connected via one lead to a row, and via the other to a column.

You process one row at a time, but rapidly - the eye won't detect the flickering if you process it quickly enough.

If the human body generates more bioelectricity than a 120-volt battery, what is correct number of sequels to produce such that the flow of curr....cash is optimized under increasing fanbase resistance to decreasing movie quality?

Here is a great resource page for you, from Maxim/Dallas.

It gives a history of LED development, usage as of a few years ago, and hints about the kinds of products that we're seeing nowadays.

There are several schematics of traditional multiplexing of displays, multiplexing of displays with Maxim products, and a slew of links to datasheets for you to peruse.

When I first viewed this topic, I interpreted: "I need information about the matrix" as "I need to access the matrix to get information". Is it just me or anyone though about it too?
