I am trying to wire a 12v DC motor to go 180 degrees in one direction and then stop and return the 180 degress in the other direction. I have found the a 6v power supply will give me the speed I am looking for. I just don;t understand how to run both polarities into the same motor in order to get the change in directions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks from a first time poster.

 

Is this a gear speed reduced motor? Might use cam & roller switch or optical position sensing to control an "H" bridge. Lots of inf. on H bridges on AAC.
