Hi everone

How deal with this circuits.

which R1 = 100 W, R2 = 200 W and R3 = 300 W. Assume
that the diode is well characterized by a piecewise linear model in which the turn on voltage is
0.7V.

How to find :-

a) Find the minimum Vs such that I2 not equal 0.
b) Calculate I1, I2 and Vx if Vs = 5 V.

Thanks

1. Assume the voltage on the diode is the minimum voltage that conducts current, ie. 0.7V. Calculate it all out.

2. Write a current node equation at Vx and solve it.

If you have problems, show what you got and we'll point out how to fix it.
