Good morning.I am a beginner and I have no experience in electronics. My project is to realise a frequency programmable divider on 4 bits using HCT circuits. If someone could help me to find or to realise the schematic for this would be great.I've tried to creat a block diagram and this contains:an oscillator(tact generator with 2 jumpers,a switch and using a standard Trigger Schmitt),a 4 bits counter(74HCT193;at the outputs of the counter there are 4 leds),a bistable(i think a D or a T one),4 switches,4 buffers,4 leds and the power supply.

If you are a beginner, why do you want to do this, what is the full project. Or is this some sort of homework?

Is a project for one of my classes. And that's all the project coordinator told me about.I'll try to post the scheme but first i have to draw it in Circuit Maker or Protel.

Look at binary counters that have preset inputs.

We can't do your homework for you, but we can give you hints.

This is how I figured out it looks like...on components...I didn't create yet the voltage supply
