HT12E/D does not work !Please help!!

    Hi members,

    I am having problems using the HT12E/D. For HT12E I have used a 1Mohm resistor (ROsc)and a regulated 9v supply.I have connected A0 to A7 and VSS to negative and VDD to positive as usual. I have also connected the TE to negative.So fro transmission i just touch AD8-AD11 to negative.

    For the HT12D I am using 6V regulated supply.The ROSC resistor I have connected 68k ohms.AO-A7 and Vss are connected to negative.D8-D11 I have connected 12v LED (they have internal resistance) and they are all connected to negative at the other end.The VDD is connected to the +6v.Nothing is connected to the VT pin.I have made a direct connection from the DIN pin straight to the Vout pin of the HT12E.

    When I fire them up and connect AD8-AD11 to negative one by one the LEDs do not light up.What is the problem?

    I will very much appreciate your help.Ihave tripple checked all the connections and everything is conneced properly as described.

    Please help

    Here is the attached picture of the schematic a bit rough, but let me know of anything you are unsure of.

    Hello,

    A picture of the circuit is not a schematic.
    Please attach the schematics of the transmitter and reciever sides.

    First use same potential for both chip my suggestion is 5V by 7805.
    and set the Encoder with 1.1M and decoder OSc to 51K....
    and use a LED with ~500ohms resistance at Valid transmit (VT) in HT12D.
    connect all A0 to A7 of both HT12E/D to same logic whether GND or Vcc.
    after this all AD0 to AD3 will transmit what you want for better result use Pull down in HT12E with a value of ~5K and switch connected to VCC then this will be gone to Decoder chip output!!

    I am sure it will work now..!!
