    Hi,

I have 2 DC motors of same capacity coupled with each other. I have plan to run one motor as motor and other one as generator. Motors armature and field connected to the DC source as well as generator armature(parallel). I plan to run the set up without power source(motor runs generator and generator runs motor). After starting the motor the set up starts rotating. Generator giving output. after switch off the motors power supply total set up stops. Whether this is technically possible? If so i plan to put onr capacitor parallel to the MG set. How to calculate the capacitor value and wattage?

It's called, "perpetual motion". It is not possible, it is not allowed on this site, and you can't calculate the capacitor for infinity.

Not even close. It doesn't matter what capacitor you use, since it won't work no matter what.
